Terms & Conditions

If you are considering making a reservation with Visit Horn Africa for a tour or excursion, please carefully review our Terms and Conditions before making any decisions. 

Bookings and prices

We make every effort to ensure our website contains accurate and up-to-date information, but errors may occur. Prior to making a booking, please contact us via WhatsApp +46735776160 or info@visithornafrica.com to confirm pricing and details.

In order to make a Horn of Africa tour booking on our website or to purchase any other travel services from Visit Horn Africa, you must be at least 18 years of age and have legal authority to create a binding contractual obligation; 2) you accept and agree to all the Terms contained in this document; and 3) you provide accurate, current, and complete information for the purpose of that booking.

In the event that you make a reservation on behalf of someone other than yourself, you are considered the designated contact person for those other travelers. You represent and warrant that you are authorized to act on their behalf, that you have obtained all consents required, and that you will inform them of these Terms and warrant that they accept and agree to them. It is also your responsibility to make all payments due for your reservation; to notify us if any changes are required; and to inform the other travelers of all relevant information.

Booking and confirmation process: When we receive your booking and deposit of 10%, we will confirm availability of all components and send you a confirmation e-mail within one to two business days. In addition to receiving an email confirming your reservation, you will receive other important documents, such as a Letter of Invitation.

Payment & Deposits: To confirm a booking, we require a 10% payment deposit in advance. This can be made by bank transfer or by debit card in US dollars. The remaining amount can be paid upon arrival in US cash.

Changes

Risk-free Booking: Don’t worry if your plans need to be modified: our team is here to assist you. It is possible to arrange a Horn of Africa tour at a different time if you wish. You may amend your booking dates once without incurring any change fees under our cancellation policy.

Cancellations & Refunds

You must notify us in writing by email 48 hours before your departure date if you wish to cancel your booking for any reason. We will refund your deposit money after you cancel, and refunds will be processed and paid as soon as possible. You will receive your refund after we have recovered funds already paid to your tour arrangement, such as entrance fees, hotel deposits, and letter invitations. Refunds are usually processed within six weeks of being requested. Credit card refunds will be credited to the same card as the payment, provided the refund does not exceed the amount paid.
