Tour to Ethiopia, Somaliland, and Djibouti

The tour to Ethiopia, Somaliland and Djibouti – You will travel to the Horn of Africa as part of our African adventure. A trip to Ethiopia begins with a visit to the Danakil Depression, which has one of the harshest climates in the world. In the Omo valley, you will have the opportunity to experience the cultures, ceremonies, and ways of life of the Hamar, Mursi, Karo, Dassench, and Ari tribes.

Furthermore, we will have the opportunity to visit Lalibela, one of the world’s most majestic and sacred sights, where we will see eleven rock-cut churches, each carved from a single block of granite with their roofs at ground level, in addition to our visit to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s capital and home of the African Union.

Our trip to Ethiopia will be followed by a visit to the capital of Somaliland, Hargeisa, a gateway to the self-proclaimed independent republic of Somaliland, the former British protectorate. Despite its declaration of independence from the rest of Somalia in 1991, this de-facto state is not recognized as a sovereign state by any international organization.

After enduring a brutal civil war, the area has transformed into a very safe and friendly place. The locals live happily and are extremely friendly to foreigners. There is nothing like Somaliland in the region or almost anywhere else on Earth as a country. We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to chew Khat, the nation’s only legal drug, speak with the locals, swim in untouched waters, and view ancient cave paintings.

We will also visit Djibouti. This country remains unknown to many travelers, which makes it unique and off-the-beaten-path. There is an unspoiled coastline along the Red Sea, as well as an unusual mix of Arabs and Africans in this part of Africa. As a bonus, we will visit the two lakes, which is the lowest point in Africa.
