Thank you for joining us in Mogadishu, the capital and largest city of Somalia. In the 1970s and 1980s, before the civil war broke out in 1991, Mogadishu was considered one of the world’s top ten cities. With its stunning beaches and classical architecture, the ancient city of Mogadishu was once hailed as the jewel of East Africa. Its strategic location along a coastline of over three thousand kilometers made Mogadishu’s seaport a key transport hub between Africa and Asia.
Let Visit Horn Africa assist you. We will help you experience Mogadishu like a local, even if you have never been there before.
