Following the meeting with the local guide at the hotel, you will explore the old town and feed the Hynes at night. Overnight in Harar at Heritage plaza Hotel or similar

Day 3:Harar - Arrival in Hargeisa

Proceed to Wajaale after breakfast and before crossing the border, stopover in Jigjiga, the capital of Somalia’s Ethiopian territory and enjoy lunch. We begin our trip to the border with Somaliland at Wajaale, and end our trip in Ethiopia at the same location.

Upon arrival in Hargeisa, you will be taken to your hotel after completing customs formalities. You will have the opportunity to tour the city if time permits. Otherwise, you will remain at the hotel for the remainder of the day. Overnight Damal Hotel or similar.

Day 4:Hargeisa - Laasgeel - Berbera

Morning drive to Laas Geel, the most important rock art site in Africa. These caves contain some of the oldest cave paintings on the Horn of Africa. The vibrant colors and well-preserved paintings are estimated to be around ten thousand years old. Continue driving to the coastal city of Berbera.

Upon our arrival, visit a historical Ottoman Mosque and Ottoman houses. Late lunch was served at an Ottoman house. Take a short boat trip to go hunt for shipwrecks in the Gulf of Aden. Relax and swim at an untouched beach, where local youth and families come and enjoy their downtime. (Due to local culture, ladies will need to cover their bodies while in water.)
